    FAQs

    What metals do you work with?

    We currently work with aluminum, sterling silver, 14kt gold fill, 14kt rose gold fill, copper, and brass.

     

    Will my jewelry tarnish?

    Aluminum will not tarnish and is hypoallergenic.

    Sterling, brass and copper pieces can tarnish, but it takes special circumstances for that to happen. Depending on your skin's acidity level, a slight skin discoloration might occur. This is harmless and can be washed off.

    Pure gold does not tarnish so our Gold-filled and Rose Gold-filled pieces are less likely to tarnish. Depending on care, these pieces should remain tarnish free. 
    We do include a polishing pad with every order to restore luster in any case.


    Gift Wrapping and Packaging

    Every piece we make comes with its own small kraft box or drawstring bag and a card inside. A receipt or invoice is included. If you would not like it included, please let us know in the note box at checkout.

     

    What is the difference between stamping and engraving?

    Engraving is an impression made by a machine into the metal. We can design, render and engrave pieces here in our studio.

    When we hand stamp, each letter/character/symbol one at a time with a hammer and steel tools so the stamping may not be perfectly straight or evenly spaced. Each piece will be one of a kind. These variations create uniqueness, adding charm and character to every handmade piece.

    All items in our shop are made by us.

    Our current production time is 3-5 business days.
